Ambassador Churchill Ewumbue-Monono is the Founder and Director General of CEREDDA, and Cameroon's Ambassador to Ethiopia & Djibouti and Permanent Representative to the African Union and UNECA. With over 30 years in Cameroon's foreign service and presidential advisory structures, he combines scholarly depth with diplomatic acumen, advancing Cameroon's interests while mentoring the next generation of African leaders.
His founding of CEREDDA in 1993 reflects a lifelong commitment to providing civil society perspectives and African-centred frameworks on the continent's democratisation, governance, and development challenges — operating from Yaoundé to Addis Ababa under the motto "Unity, Development, Service."
